Terms of Service
These terms apply to CMIT Digital's client portal, EDI, and its Social Scheduler (together, "the Service"). By using the Service you agree to them. If you use the Service for a business, you agree on its behalf.
1. The Service
The Service lets CMIT Digital and its clients:
- connect social media accounts;
- plan, schedule and publish posts and videos;
- see reports on how those accounts perform.
We may improve or change features over time.
2. Your accounts and access
- Keep your portal login private, and tell us if you think someone else has used it.
- Only connect social media accounts you are allowed to manage.
- CMIT Digital team members working on your account can see and act on it.
3. Third-party networks
When you connect a network, you also remain bound by that network's own terms.
- YouTube. The Service uses YouTube API Services. By connecting a YouTube channel or using YouTube features in the Service, you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
- Each network decides what it accepts and shows. We are not responsible for a network's own changes, outages or decisions about your content or account.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of the posts, images and videos you create. You give us permission to store them and to send them to the networks you choose, only to provide the Service. You are responsible for having the rights to what you publish, and for following each network's rules.
5. Acceptable use
Do not use the Service to publish anything unlawful, misleading, infringing or harmful. Do not use it to spam, or try to break or misuse it. We may suspend access that puts the Service, its users or connected networks at risk.
6. Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle information, including data from YouTube and Google.
7. Disconnecting and ending use
You can disconnect any account at any time in the Service. You can also revoke access to Google and YouTube data on the Google security settings page. When your use ends, we delete connected-account tokens and stored network data as described in the Privacy Policy.
8. Disclaimers and liability
We work to keep the Service reliable, but it is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows:
- we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses;
- we are not liable for posts a network rejects, delays or removes.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. We will change the date at the top, and tell signed-in users about important changes.
