CMIT Digital
EDI Social Scheduler
EDI is the client portal CMIT Digital uses to plan, publish and report on the social media we manage for our clients. Our account managers schedule posts and videos in one place, and each client sees their own reports.
What it does
Schedule posts
Plan posts for each client's channels on a calendar and publish them at the set time.
Post to YouTube
Upload a client's video with its title, description, tags and thumbnail, and set when it goes live. Edit or delete it later.
Reports
See views, watch time and top videos from YouTube Analytics, alongside the other networks, in each client's report.
Right channel, every time
Each client is locked to their own channel, and only CMIT Digital managers can connect or change it.
How it uses your Google and YouTube data
A manager connects a YouTube channel by signing in with Google and approving access. EDI then uses the YouTube Data API and YouTube Analytics API only to:
- show the channel's name, videos and statistics so the manager can confirm it is the right channel;
- upload, schedule, edit and delete videos when a manager asks it to;
- show YouTube Analytics in that client's reports.
We never sell this data or use it for advertising. Sign-in tokens are encrypted on our server and deleted when the channel is disconnected. Using EDI with YouTube means you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service, and Google's handling of your data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy. You can remove EDI's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Full details are in our Privacy Policy.
Who can use it
EDI is for CMIT Digital staff and the clients we manage social media for. Access is by invitation. For help or questions, email nisargnaik@gmail.com.
